September 16, 2016 Morning

Good morning! Tonight is the Harvest Moon. Everybody, let’s sing,Β Shine on, Shine on Harvest Moon. Maybe later? Cool start to the morning, sunny and 52 degrees in North Syracuse. Earlier, Big Red’s DIC came in with the temperature at 49. Had to use the defroster to get the dew off. Otherwise, calm wind. The dew point is 46 degrees.

Nice day, and it was going pretty good until I spilled milk all over the black top.Β Dropped the milk jug getting it out of my truck and it shattered But with some water, I was able to get it washed up, and I’m back in business with milk on my cereal. The milk at the convenience store was more expensive, but so be it. I don’t like not having milk. Won’t be parking at that parking spot for a while, at least until we get a good rain — maybe Saturday?

Today will be sunny, with a high of 77 degrees at 3pm. Maximum dew point of 53 at 4pm. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. The record high of 92 was set in 1939. The sun will set at 7:11 pm with dusk around 7:39 pm, which is 1 minutes and 48 seconds earlier than yesterday. Today will have 12 hours and 24 minutes of daylight, a decrease of 2 minutes and 54 seconds over yesterday.

Might try to get out and do some fishing this evening or tomorrow morning.Β It’s going to be such a nice evening, so it would be fun get out and enjoy itΒ before the weather gets a bit too cold. Autumn is rapidly approaching, although this weekend should have some decently warm, if not a bit stormy weather.

Tonight will be mostly clear, with a low of 57 degrees at 6am.Β Maximum dew point of 54 at 9pm. Southeast wind 6 to 8 mph.
