They say all good things must end these days, autumn leaves must fall. 🍂But first in two weeks my summer vacation begins, assuming I leave on a Friday night right after work. Mostly sunny and 68 degrees in Delmar. Calm wind. The dew point is 59 degrees.
Today will be sunny 🌞 , with a high of 87 degrees at 3pm. Four degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 61 at 11am. Calm wind. A year ago, we had partly cloudy skies with more clouds in the afternoon. It was humid. The high last year was 78 degrees. The record high of 96 was set in 1894.

I popped the hood when I got home and determined I need my star wrench to get the air filter box out so I can replace the headlight bulb. I think I know where that is and hopefully this won’t be a a difficult problem tomorrow. π‘ Sunday is going to be hot, may do some kayak fishing then. 🚣 I also want to get some more books out of the library and work on an electronics project. Maybe next weekend I’ll get up to the Adirondacks as summer will be gone before you know it, especially once my summer vacation is done.

Today the average high is 83 degrees, we are in the hottest portion of the year. In six weeks, the average high will fall back to 79 degrees. π
Summer is not endless, get out and enjoy it before summer twenty ought eighteen is just one for the history books.
