Already it's the second half of the month. 🍁 September is rapidly fading into October, with lots of color and cooler weather for the coming weeks and months. I'm so busy these days, but look forward to many adventures in changing seasons.

Safety in Farrowing

I was reading a post about how bad farrowing crates are on social media, by somebody who knows very little about hogs. While farrowing crates aren't the perfect situation for everyone, there are reasons why many farms use them - especially to prevent piglets from getting crushed in barnyards.

NB88 – What’s it REALLY like to live in a cabin in the woods?

"Welcome back to the cabin. It's dead of winter here, so i decided to make a video of what it's like to live in a cabin in the woods. First of all, there's no place I'd rather be. But it ain't all beer and BBQ. There's lots of hard work too! Some days you work from sun up to sun down and other days you just put in the time and enjoy. In this video I'm going to talk about topics including weather, cabin fever, wild animals, fishing, hunting, bugs and more. This is one of my longer videos but it's hard to condense everything down to a 25 minute video."
