I looked deep in the snow hole, but at this time in early September, there was no snow to be found. Sorry kids!

It was somewhat warm in the sun paddling around in the canoe. After he once jumped in the middle of the lake, about a year ago to join the kids swimming, and had to swim 150 feet to the shore, he has never done that again. Eli is not a big fan of swimming.

Here if you take a left you will go up to East Mountain, which is where the Appalachian Trail (A.T.) runs and has some pretty views.
