With this rendering I continue my fascination with the Lost Valley of the Schoharie Creek.
I was sitting down at this waterfall in the middle of the Adirondack wilderness, watching the ever so fascinating waves flow and the fluttering leaves on the trees, all alone.
I was listening to the Grateful Dead’s Dire Wolf, singing along, Please don’t murder me! I was giggling. A man stood looking over from the ledge, wondering if I was just very high or was suffering from schizophrenia. But I didn’t care, he walked away and I was giggling thinking about how much fun I’m having with old Jerry Garcia record.
The more I learn about Rust, the more I like about it’s syntax and it’s various paradigms. Reminds me of the best of C, Python, modern Javascript, and R. And not a lot of the ugly of those languages.
That said, some of the borrowing / ownership model is a bit weird in Rust. Not unlike shallow vs deep copies in Python. But maybe when I learn more it will be all groovy.
