October and already the leaves are fading away in the Adirondacks. πŸ‚ Most shocking to me is that we are less then a month away from November, which in many ways should be a sigh of relief with the craziness of work and with the deep blue skies and crisp days of that month.

Main Falls on the Bozen Kill

The main attraction of the Bozen Kill -- the big(ger) waterfalls down by the lean-to at Christman Sanctuary. Only a few people there today because it was a weekday, although they had a volunteer crew working to re-hab the lean-to.

Solo Camping in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

The UP looks like a nice place to explore, with all the sand and woods. Probably a lot like the area around Chase Lake in the Western Adirondacks or Moose River Plains, only larger and flatter.
