After getting COVID at the end of 2024 and sleeping through much of the holiday season, 🛌 it's good to be up and back at my game again. It's cold and dark this time of year, 🥶 but I figure focus on learning and working, while counting down the days until Punxsy sees or does not see his shadow. 🐻

Lately blog revenue has been in crapper 💩

It’s the weather and I’ve not been updating the blog as much as I’ve been sick with COVID and working on other projects. Blog traffic always dries up in the winter, as most people come here in summer months looking for places to hike and camp. Plus my adventures are always so much better in the summer months, with much of what I post this time of year, merely reheated old junk.

New desk lamp for my office

When I moved to the suburban office, I didn't get to take my nice brass lamp to the new office. I really liked my brass lamp I had back downtown. But I found this beauty at Goodwill for $25 and I really like it. Big heavy sucker too, thing has to weight 20 lbs.
