What turned out to be a beautiful day, after hiking back to Little Pond and doing some mountain biking on Prospect Mountain Road in Woodford (Forest Road 273), I discovered this wonderful campsite. Four others along this road, only a short drive to Bennington.

I'm not sure if the cells are custom made or if they are standard zinc air cells, but the way they've been used is extraordinary. Do standard zinc air cells liberate gas when discharged slowly without a ready source of oxygen?

Using my New Holland 269 square baler as an example, I explain how the baler works, from incoming power through the PTO all the way to throwing a completed bale into the wagon, including the operation of the knotters. I also give maintenance tips and how to adjust the baler to make good bales.

With Stratton Airfield Road still closed in the Green Mountain National Forest and all the campsites taken along George Aiken Wilderness Road, I decided to haul my hammock and screen tent into the back country into a meadow and do some hammock camping for the first half of the Memorial Day Weekend.
