Where pill mills proliferated a decade ago, unscrupulous rehabs sprout today. β€œA lot of the talk until this point has involved more money for rehab,” says Dave Aronberg, the state attorney for Palm Beach County, one of the few jurisdictions that has vigorously pursued lawbreaking treatment providers. β€œLittle has been said or done on the issue of patient brokering and insurance fraud that has cost so many lives.”
