Coming back to the Potholers, I noted that Arietta has brought in an excavataotor and is hardening the crossing over Brayhouse Brook. They've added additional ourse rock, and have lined the edges of the culvert with heavy boulders. They've also done additional repairs to their section of the road just to south of the Potholers. I've been told that Stratford is working on repairing their bridge and will be re-grading their section of road in the coming weeks, to prepare the road for full opening by the start of hunting season on September 1st.

Most of the damage in Stratford isn't major, some will require some fill but most can be fixed by just moving the erroded rock.

They will need to replace the culvert on the lower section of Powley Road that is closed.

Arietta has replaced the culvert and put the heavy rock over the bridge.

The water at the potholers sure was refreshing.

I patched the hole in my screen tent. It's ugly but works well.

The washed away wing wall means that lower Piseco Road bridge is currently impassable. This is supposed to be repaired by the autumn and then the road re-graded.
