New York State

New York is a state in the Northeastern region of the United States. New York is the 27th-most extensive, the 3rd-most populous, and the 7th-most densely populated of the 50 United States. New York is bordered by New Jersey and Pennsylvania to the south, and by Connecticut, Massachusetts and Vermont to the east. The state has a maritime border with Rhode Island east of Long Island, as well as an international border with the Canadian provinces of Ontario to the west and north, and Quebec to the north. The state of New York is often referred to as New York State to distinguish it from New York City.

Theodore Wind Bridge in Little Falls

Driving over the Mayor Theodore Wind Bridge in Little Falls, that was built south of rather then upon Moss Island, carrying NY 169 to the Thruway, providing this dying industrial city access to the superhighway. For being a highway bridge built in 1980-1982, it's a remarkably graceful bridge that crosses the Mohawk River, Barge Canal, Old River Road, and the Railroad Tracks. The first part of this video is Old River Road, from the Sewage Treatment Plant to NY 5.

NY 170A

Farm country outside of Little Falls in Mohawk Valley. Town of Salisbury in Fulton County, up on "Top Notch" according to my topographic map. Nice drive, especially in the fall before they start spreading manure on the fields.

Stamford

Driving into Stamford down along NY 10.
