Land Use – Oneonta Area

While the greater Oneonta has some agriculture in valleys and people do dairy and raise beef cattle in this area, most of the hill tops are forested with deciduous trees. South of Goodyear Lake and South of Oneonta has some good crop soils, they raise corn mostly for silage there, but the high hills are mostly wooded.
