This is part of the Hillicross Farm that OSI has purchased to eventually add to the Rensselaerville State Forest. 

I was kicking myself for not bringing my skis. Sunday would have been good for skiing in a lot of places up there but by Presidents Day, the snow was pretty soft and sticky and rapidly disappearing. But maybe there is a chance come march to winter camp and ski again.

Near this area there is a little campfire pit just off the truck trail where I used to camp quite a bit in the past.
