Here is where Moose River Plains Road "T" into Otter Brook Road, and is informally known as the Big T junction, as it takes you in all major directions of Moose River Plains.

This is about a mile above where the Otter Brook hits the South Branch of the Moose River. Otter Brook is high above, and there is a very small roadside tent site here -- so small that you'd have to be careful not to roll out in the middle of the night into the traffic lane, not that their would be cars driving by.

Believe it or not, the NYSDEC has built a handicap trail all the way to Icehouse Pond, a full 3/10 of a mile from the road. At the site their is a gravel tent platform, picnic table, gravel path to the lake, and an accessible outhouse. A person in a wheelchair can enjoy true wilderness camping!
