Joe Biden

Ask a Biden Supporter, Biden’s Going to Lose

Lately I’ve been hearing from many Joe Biden supporters on how they profusely hate Donald Trump, at the same time seem to have adopted most of his views based on what they are hearing in the news. From supposed Joe Biden supporters , I hear about the illegals pouring over the border, how bail reform is ruining our state, crime is out of control, and how Joe Biden is too old, frail and elderly to be in the White House. But I’m told he’s somehow he’s better then his obnoxious, 96-count felon opponent, Donald Trump.

It’s a big problem for Democrats when the media has ground into the public’s mind that Joe Biden is a failure, an aloof old man who doesn’t get today’s concerns. People might not like Donald Trump’s style or some of his positions, but if your believing most of his rhetoric, then it’s hard to be an enthusiastic Joe Biden supporter. The media still digs Donald Trump and his narrative because it’s dramatic and sells a lot of newspaper and television advertising. For them, it’s not about policy, but just making a lot of profit.

I don’t know how we turn the tide on the anti-Joe Biden narrative that has come to overtake the political debate in recent weeks. It’s just so profitable for the corporations to tell a bad story about the nation. Not to mention, a lot of corporations want Donald Trump back in the White House, to cut regulation and taxes. Joe Biden, despite being the incumbent, in many ways is the underdog in his rematch with Donald Trump — despite all the legal challenges and problems the former President faces.

Perceptions of President Joe Biden’s job performance worsened across most of the country in the first quarter of this year, deepening the challenges for his party in key states ahead of this year’s midterm elections that largely overlap with the 2024 presidential map.

According to Morning Consult Political Intelligence quarterly tracking in all 50 states, more voters now disapprove than approve of Biden’s job performance in 40 states, following double-digit declines in his net approval rating — the share of voters who approve minus the share who disapprove — since he took office in January 2021.

The Pandemic Won Biden The White House. Now It’s Costing Him | Opinion

A year ago, elected Democrats could have foreseen that 2021 would bring some unexpected challenges. But after spending 2020 blaming Donald Trump for the pandemic and running as the party that listened to "the science," few of Biden's supporters, flushed with the thrill of ousting Trump from the White House, were prepared for the current state of affairs.

Though Democrats are still doing their best to blame the country's problems on the previous president, Republicans and the unvaccinated, they are now being reminded of a basic political truth. Incumbent presidents can take credit for the sunshine but must also shoulder the blame for rain.

I think Joe Biden has been a pretty good president so far πŸ‘”

While anywhere in the political system there will be haters and those who want to tear things down, I really have few complaints about our current leader of our country. He shuts his mouth and does a competent job. He’s not showboating all of the time, he’s not running out in front of cameras all of the time. He has no big elaborate agenda — sure he throws slabs of raw meat to his base — but he pretty much does what he should do and keeps the country moving forward.
