How Can I Stop OCD Thoughts?

How Can I Stop OCD Thoughts?

With my therapy sessions I've been doing recently, I've been doing a lot of thinking about my views and how and I want to change -- like thinking about less about burn barrels and how much waste there is in society. While I learn a lot from the sessions, I also been doing a lot of research myself, as I chew through what is my next step. While at some point, I want to own land out in the country, where I can have fires and kind of do what I want, for now it's kind of a struggle to figure out my identity, control my naughty fire-driven thoughts, and make my life better so I can earn more money and get closer to those goal of owning my own land.

Scientists Studying Cannabis Now Have Access To More Plants For Their Research : Shots – Health News : NPR

After more than 50 years, the federal government is lifting a roadblock to cannabis research that scientists and advocates say has hindered rigorous studies of the plant and possible drug development.

Since 1968, U.S. researchers have been allowed to use cannabis from only one domestic source: a facility based at the University of Mississippi, through a contract with the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA).

That changed earlier this month, when the Drug Enforcement Administration announced it's in the process of registering several additional American companies to produce cannabis for medical and scientific purposes.

How To Pick The Best Sunscreen For You : Life Kit : NPR

That's right, sunscreen. It's mid-July, and since sheltering-in-place through an anxious spring, summer has arrived and it's time to (safely, and with a mask) get out of the house and see the sun. And yes, you must protect yourself from the sun's rays — UVA, UVB, the whole gang.

Dana Beal stood in Union Square Park explaining the provenance of the pot being given away to a crowd of expectant people who were gathering near a bronze statue of George Washington astride a horse.

He acknowledged that it might not be of the “green, fresh, aromatic, piney, incredibly potent” variety that is most popular. But it nonetheless possessed properties that would deliver a respectable high.

On top of that, Mr. Beal’s shrug seemed to say, it was free. He squinted into the sunlight, his white hair and generous mustache making him resemble a contemporary version of Mark Twain about to dispense a pithy insight.

“It’s just expired from the standpoint that nobody will buy it,” he said. “There’s nothing wrong with it.”

Comfort at Sea: History of Hospital Ships in New York City | Turnstile Tours

The hospital ship USNS Comfort is en route to New York City. One of just two hospital ships in the Navy fleet, it has been dispatched from Norfolk, while its sister ship Mercy recently arrived in Los Angeles. Comfort will dock at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal (and some dredging is required to fit the converted oil tanker into the berth), while the counterpart Red Hook Cruise Terminal is being converted into one of the city’s five emergency hospitals, along with the Javits Center, Bronx Expo Center, Queens Aqueduct, and the College of Staten Island (which, coincidentally, sits on the former site of Halloran Hospital, the Army’s largest hospital in World War II).
