All that light and bright green was sorely missing from Powley Place when I camped there most of the weekend, until Memorial Day worked it's way around.

Cooking dinner after dark. This way one avoided the black flies.

Here is an example of the deterioration of the bridge as seen from it's underside. Concrete was cracking as steel was gone from holding it up. Bridge will eventually have to be replaced.

It was hard to get a good picture in the thick woods, mostly dominated by younger trees surrounding it.

There where several old growth trees along the Big Alderbed Trail, like this one, whose top was missing.

I was not brave enough to try it, although it looked like some of the cables on it had recently been replaced.
