Fulton County

Fulton County is a county located in the U.S. state of New York. As of the 2010 census, the population was 55,531. Fulton County is in the central part of the state, northwest of Albany. It is in the southern portion of the Adirondack Park and is famous for it’s ’44 Lakes’.

Marshy Meadows

There are a lot of large marshy meadows in the Ferris Lake Wild Forest around Dexter Lake. Good places for observing wildlife.

Looking East

From here you can see the top of the ledge, overlooking Little Goodluck Mountain and Spectacle Lake and the flatlands and final ridge of the Adirondacks as you get into the wooded forestland around Middle Sprite and Oppenheim.
