This looks like a very nice charger, especially if your building things that use USB power at higher output.

I think this goal is more realistic than people realize. I would have doubted it five years ago but technology has advanced and 18650 li-on cells are quite inexpensive. You get enough of them together and you can power a bus for a good long day. Software and controllers for managing batteries has gotten much better lately too. There are still issues with extremely hot and cold weather with battery powered buses but they are the future. Grid electricity is so much cheaper than diesel and with more and more wind coming online there is surplus of cheap electricity in the early morning hours when most people are sleeping.
Miami is not going to be far behind. They already have problems with flooding at high tide. Boston too... Everytime they get a very high tide with a Nor'Easter they are flooding. Didn't used to be that way.
Funny kind of how when a doctor warns you about the dangers of chain smoking and then you find out you have lung cancer. Those smoker coughs at first weren't too bad.
410 ppm is the new norm.
Electricity is a very efficient way to power a motor vehicle as internal combustion engines are quite lossy in converting fuel to useful work compared to a central power plant.

I didn’t expect to spend my whole day here in the office but so be it. Just kind of a long day, although a busy one so time went by quickly. I guess I will be back tomorrow too🏢. Parking didn’t seem too bad today downtown,🚏 so hopefully it won’t be too bad tomorrow with day two of Tulip Festival 🌷when I come back in. I can’t take the bus in tomorrow as the service shuts down early on Sundays. So much for working on the solar panel tomorrow. 😟At least I’m not missing a weekend where it would be nice for camping.
I tell you this has been a lough year in many ways. I guess rewarding on the sense that I’m coming one day closer to my dreams and investing in my future but the days have been long:mrgreen:. I do feel confident in what I do after years of experience but it’s dragged on. Family members are getting older and I’m getting increasingly gray👴. But the best is yet to come. I’m just really tired tonight.
Maybe in the morning before I go back into the office, I’ll have to go for a walk somewhere nice. Maybe Five Rivers Environmental Education Center or maybe that preserve along the river that is just south of Rensselaer. 🏃I really need to stretch my legs after spending all day in the office. 🌺🌼🌿 Plus tomorrow is expected to be a beautiful day.
In four weeks on June 9 the sun will be setting at 8:32 pm,🌄 which is 24 minutes and 8 seconds later then tonight. In 2017 on that day, we had partly cloudy skies and temperatures between 79 and 57 degrees. Typically, you have temperatures between 76 and 55 degrees. The record high of 100 degrees was set back in 1933.
Looking ahead, Veterans Day Observed (Monday) 🇺🇸 is in 6 months. Strangely enough I kind of look forward to the peace and quiet of November once again, even if means colder weather and short days.
🇺🇸🦅Only 12 days remain until the start of Memorial Day Weekend!🦅🇺🇸
I was reviewing Albany’s 2017 Active Landfill Annual Report and noticed that the City dramatically reduced the amount of asbestos-contaminated waste that they were taking at the landfill mid-year. Does anybody know why?
