Good evening. Currently overcast and 32 degrees in Delmar. Tonight will have a chance of rain, mainly after 5am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. Southeast wind 6 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Tomorrow’s sunrise will be at 7:06 am with first light at 6:37 am, which is 2 minutes earlier then today. Looking at 55 degrees for a high tomorrow and 1-2 inches of much needed rain. At times tomorrow it could be a real soaker, especially midday and on the commute home. Kind of sucks for the ice fishermen.
Went down to the library and for my evening walk. The weather is fairly pleasant this evening. No breeze this evening and mercury around freezing makes the weather feel decently warm for early February. Between Punxsutawney Phil and El Nino, I feel like we are certain to get a modestly early spring.
I can’t complain about the blue skies we had for a while. That certainly was a real nice change. El Nino and the jet stream position has meant so many dreary days this year for sure.
I hope you had a good Ground Hog Day. Sleep well!
