The days go by so quickly it seems, though in the case of yesterday maybe not quick enough. Things just got off on the wrong start with the smoke alarm yesterday, compared to today with warm fresh carrot bread and banana oatmeal pancakes.

Made up a bunch of whole wheat bread 🍞🥖 – one loaf with rye and the other with carrots 🥕 and was in bed by nine 🛏 and got a good night’s sleep.

I have to admit it just was difficult to shift gears from Madison County 🐮 back to work. The mornings were so dark that I slept in pretty late. I was fortunate that I was able to get away for six days.
