Lupine Under The Pitch Pine

While the lupine weren't as common on Blueberry Hill area as other parts of the Pine Bush, there were definitely some brilliant blue patches, as seen under these emblematic Pitch Pine trees.

Three months later, Albany had the longest heat wave going on for ten days from August 27 to September 5th, each day well into the 90s including a few days over Labor Day Weekend when it was 100 degrees. The 1953 heat wave was the last time Albany had triple digit weather.
