There was more sun when I started my walk, then it disappeared. There is a northwest breeze at 8 mph. π. There are 9.5 inches of snow on the ground. β οΈDefinately melting and the sidewalks are getting better although still icy and slippery in a few places. But at least the snow banks have been removed. Things will start to thaw out at around noontime. π‘οΈ
Waking up this morning with the sun streaming in my bedroom, I thought I had overslept but that wasn’t really the case. But then as I was walking, it started to cloud up again. Hopefully they aren’t wrong about the forecast today. Sidewalks are good both my walk last night and this morning.

Nice mild, sunny day, that is once the sky clears out Northwest wind 7 to 9 mph. A year ago, we had cloudy skies in the morning with more sun in the afternoon. The high last year was 45 degrees. The record high of 61 was set in 1991. 15.5 inches of snow fell back in 1926.β
I am thinking later today, I will head to the store and then go to the library and work down there for the balance of the afternoon. I expect today with the sun to be warm enough later that it will I shouldn’t be too cool when I’m working down there. I also turned the heat down in my apartment as I’m not worried about things getting too cold over the next few days and it’s good to save energy and money.
