Back off to work on this Thursday morning. 💼 At least this a pretty causal dress day at work. Got somethings to do today but I don’t think things will be all that intense. 🏇
This weekend looks increasingly cold and cloudy but I’m hoping that the weather will be good enough to mount the solar panel on my truck cap. β Then maybe next weekend I can get back out camping before the start of the Memorial Day Weekend. I noticed that locally the mosquitoes have been awoken for yet another year. 🐜
Definitely things are getting green outside. It’s clear that spring is well underway. One Memorial Day comes and goes most of the Adirondack Roads will be open again, and I’m sure come June I’ll be up at Piesco Powley Road and the Potholers. βΊI also want to back to Moss Island come the spring and maybe paddle some of the Mohawk River once the locks are open once again.
Looking ahead, there are 28 weeks until Thanksgiving 🦃 when the sun will be setting at 4:27 pm with dusk at 4:57 pm (Standard Time). On that day in 2017, we had rain, cloudy skies and temperatures between 46 and 34 degrees. Typically, the high temperature is 45 degrees. We hit a record high of 70 back in 1931.
Saturday Afternoon at East Branch Sacandaga River
