Good morning! Monday’s come back around again. Four day week if you have Good Friday off which I hopefully will have. Deep blue skies and 33 degrees in Delmar, NY. 🌞 Calm wind. Not a half bad morning for late March with lots of sun and nearly seasonable weather. Lots of blue skies!

I did turn the heat back on last night as the temperature is still dropping into the twenties outside but I’m still hopeful that in a week or two I’ll be able to have the windows open. I do like having the fresh air💨 in the morning, and the roar off the traffic means I won’t hear the rumble of my neighbors game boy or whatever the kids are playing with these days.

Today will be sunny 🌞 , with a high of 49 degrees at 4pm. Normal for today. Northeast wind 3 to 5 mph. A year ago, we had cloudy skies. The high last year was 39 degrees. The record high of 74 was set in 1986. 6.1 inches of snow fell back in 1899.❄ Snow fall records keep getting smaller as we head into spring time. A month from now, at least in the city things should be greening up. I’m looking for to later in April.

The sun will set at 7:15 pm with dusk around 7:43 pm, which is one minute and 8 seconds later than yesterday. 🌇 At sunset, look for clear skies and42 degrees. There will be a calm wind. Today will have 12 hours and 28 minutes of daytime, an increase of 2 minutes and 53 seconds over yesterday.

Tonight will be clear 🌞 , with a low of 23 degrees at 6am. Seven degrees below normal. Light and variable wind. In 2017, we had cloudy skies. It got down to 36 degrees. The record low of 11 occurred back in 1975.

The long Easter weekend 🐰is expected to be fairly cool and possibly wet so I doubt I’ll be heading out of town. Maybe I can saw that aluminum bar and get the bolts I need for mounting the solar panel to the truck cap. Having solar will be nice for camping, as I’ll be able to just park the truck in the sun and top off the accessory battery so it’s always full for multiple day camping adventures. :mrgreen:Many parking lots are quite sunny and it will keep the truck cap cooler. I am thinking I probably won’t be able to get camping until the last week of April.

Looking ahead, there are 9 weeks until Memorial Day 🇺🇸 when the sun will be setting at 8:23 pm with dusk at 8:57 pm. On that day in 2017, we had cloudy skies and temperatures between 74 and 60 degrees. Memorial Day Weekend last year was so wet and rainy as was most of the summer. Typically, the high temperature is 73 degrees. We hit a record high of 93 back in 2016.
