Good morning. Currently 66 degrees and sunny, getting up to 80 later. Low humidity and bright blue skies are expected today, although there is a slight chance for a shower this evening.

Tonight is the candlelight vigil for the Hudson River, to encourage the state and GE to finish cleaning up the Hudson River. They’ve dredged a lot of PCBs in recent years but this toxic containment is still impacting our river. That sucks for fishing and recreation along the river, even if swimming is not really impacted much.

Tomorrow I will finish packing and plan to leave early Saturday for vacation. The long range forecast looks hot but that’s perfect weather for hiking gorges and swimming in them.
