I didn't get a good picture of the ladder that leads to the cabin, in part because of my fear of heights.

The Wakley Mountain Firetower badly needs restoration. It may not be unsafe yet, except for the lack of safety fencing on stairs and landings, yet, it is rapidly deteriorating.
