Well Happy October. 🎃 How fast the seasons change. 🍂With the colder nights lately the leaves are changing fast, earlier than many years. I bet with the rain and wind 🍃 soon they’ll be pretty much gone from the higher elevations of the Adirondacks.

I stayed up much too late and I’m paying for it this morning. 💤 I tried to sleep in without much luck but I skipped my morning walk. 🚶🏻 Pancakes 🥞 for breakfast this morning. And lots of coffee ☕. I had enough milk but I’ll need to get more later on.

As promised no more paper recycling dumpsters at the park and ride. 📄 ♻ That’s disappointing because it seems like I always have so much paper trash that now I’ll have to take to the transfer station. Maybe I can roll 🍥 it up into logs and burn in campfires to supplement purchased or gathered wood 🌲🌳 although my experience is that paper – especially those glossy circulars that they flood your mail box with 📬 have loads of clay and don’t burn well. 🗞️🔥
