This weekends weather turned out much nicer than I had expected though it’s a big cloudier and muggier this morning then I had hoped. Still last night wasn’t bad at all in the hammock with the bug net camping on Cole Hill.

How to maximize fun without burning up a lot of gas. ⛽ That’s the name of the game this weekend. Took the Nature Bus up to Thacher Park and rode trail, read, and relaxed in the hammock until quarter after five when I rode back home. 🚲 As usual the New Salem Hill was a blast, and by taking NY 85A to Voorheesville and the rail trail 🚂I was able to miss the hills coming out of New Salem.

After I got home, grabbed my stuff and did a quick overnight on Cole Hill ⛺ up in the hammock, hauling my gear in on the bicycle 🚲 and cooking both breakfast and super on the fire. 🔥 Today I plan on riding trail at Partridge Run, maybe do a bit more reading 📖 and then heading out to the folks house for Sunday dinner. 🍽 Then it’s back to work this week. 😰 Summer heat returns midweek but I’ll be in the office in the suburbs all week and by the time I get home the heat breaks. Then cool and rainy ☔ for the weekend, might not be good for the Gas Up. 🚜
