September 25, 2020 Morning

Good morning! Yeah, it’s Friday! Next Friday is Average High is 65 in Albany πŸ‚. Partly cloudy and 46 degrees at Mason Lake. β›… Calm wind.

An absolutely beautiful day. β˜€οΈLots of blue sky and bright colors on the trees all around. 🌲 I really managed to hit peak πŸ—» color in the Adirondacks. Got some rain last night which caught me by surprise 😲 but nothing got too wet and it was a brief storm. β˜” And the thing was it was fairly warm this morning so the damp and wet wasn’t a big deal. I didn’t even bother with hooking up the heater.

Today will have isolated showers between 10am and noon. Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, mostly sunny 🌞, with a high of 76 degrees at 3pm. Eight degrees above normal, which is similar to a typical day around September 7th. Maximum dew point of 55 at 11am. Calm wind becoming southwest 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon. Busy day this morning πŸ’» with a Zoom Meeting plus a report to edit today. I will probably work at the library parking lot πŸ“š to start out the day and then go down an sit by the lake or walk the nature trail. It’s such a nice day, I wish I didn’t have to work all day. At least I’m not home 🏑 and enjoying the beautiful weather up north. Going to be even warmer come the weekend.

Solar noon 🌞 is at 12:50 pm with sun having an altitude of 45.3Β° from the due south horizon (-24.5Β° vs. 6/21). I thought about going to Piseco Powley Road come the weekend β›Ί but I need to have cell service this weekend πŸ“Ά so I’ll stay around the Spectulator area this weekend, maybe go for a cold swim at the Spectulator Village Beach πŸ– come Sunday. Who knows!

Looking ahead to Sunday, mostly cloudy, with a high near 76. South wind 7 to 14 mph. 🌞 Maximum dew point of 59 at 11am. Typical average high for the weekend is 68 degrees.

At any rate, it’s going to be a really nice weekend. ☺ I am glad I’m up north πŸ‘πŸ» and can enjoy the great colors πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ even if I have to work part of the long weekend up north here.

Last night I had another field mouse 🐭 in my truck cap which was obnoxious but I’m not sure what they are being attracted too. They were also on the table rattling pots and pans 🍳 which was obnoxious.
