There are several mid range peaks around Stamford, most notably Utsaythana but also many other dramatic peaks as you look down towards Stamford.

Looking at the radar imagery, you can see the thick clouds above, but so far not producing much rain. But Western NY and the Finger Lakes look quite wet right now.
