March 19, 2020 Night

Good evening! Mostly cloudy and 46 degrees in Delmar, NY. ☁ Calm wind.Temperatures will drop below freezing at Saturday around 5 am. β˜ƒοΈ Spring officially starts in a few more hour.

One more day until the weekend. β˜€ But it was fine day but kind of dark and gray. The afternoon was kind of long with a less than exciting web cast πŸ“Ί but still lots of wildlife to watch from my truck. Enough sun that I had sufficient power for my laptop all day but the last hour of the day I once again unplugged my laptop from the inverter. πŸ”Œ

That said, I’ll be glad when social distancing is over. πŸ‘ͺ I don’t think it’s going to last that long just because I think people will get fed up with it and the economic toll will only grow by shutdown society and government needs a source of revenue. Unless beds start filling up in hospitals πŸ₯ it’s going to be hard to politically justify the actions of government. I look forward to taking the bus 🚍 downtown and even my basement office. I don’t like having to drive to the library and Five Rivers each day and then hold going to the bathroom 🚽 until I get home because everything is closed.

I thought about heading out of town for the weekend β›Ί but I don’t know. I have a lot of things to do around home and I can finish up getting my gear ready for camping season. So much is still up in the air and I don’t want to risk getting sick 😷 although the only real human exposure I could see on a road trip is gassing up β›½ as the country I’m generally in is pretty remote.
