June 16, 2018 Morning
Good morning! Happy Saturday. Finally the weekend! Mostly sunny and 79 degrees in Delmar, NY. Calm wind. The dew point is 49 degrees.
Still chewing over today’s plans. 🚜Still thinking about going to the Gas Up this afternoon but I’m having mixed feelings about camping. βΊ Starting to run low on time to decide as I want to be out to the Gas Up by 1:30 today to see the antique machinery parade at two.
I just don’t feel like going all the way down to Burnt Rossman State Forest to truck cap camp,🚘 especially as I need to come back home before I head out to my parents house for Sunday dinner. The Mine Kill Pool doesn’t open until next week or otherwise I would shower and swim there.
I was thinking about camping maybe somewhere closer in the back country in a tent βΊbut I’d have to figure out what to do for breakfast and I’m not in the mood to carry back a lot of gear.🎒 Maybe it will just be a small day trip to do all that packing and preparing takes time and effort. Although I guess I really don’t need that much stuff.
