Another hot and sticky evening 🌃 laying by the fan after my evening walk. 🚶Its not as bad as last night but I wish I had stayed in the National Forest for the weekend but the forecast sure looked like Saturday was going to be wet and cloudy. Instead I spent it home sitting by the fan trying to stay cool. I probably should have done more this weekend but I did make some improvements to the blog and worked on other projects at home.

Another hot day on tap but that’s to be expected this time of year. ☀ I haven’t made any plans yet for this week or the weekend but I guess I’ll be working from home or the library for now. Drink lots of water sit by the fan. I am sure missing the air conditioned office 🏢 and library these days. Or even the cool of the buses 🚍 in the morning. If it does get too hot by the end of the week I might seek out the mountains somewhere for remote work. Not sure where but my opportunities are limited by where I have good cell service.

I do need to think more about summer vacation 🏊 and request a week off the end of the month or maybe early August before the sun starts setting too early and the temperature starts dropping. 🍂 Been thinking more about the Finger Lakes and Alleghany National Forest but also the Western Adirondacks and Saint Lawrence County are on my short list. 📃 When I’m on vacation I’ll be fully free to do whatever I want all day long and won’t have to worry about having cell service. 📱 I really didn’t have a lot of free time when I was in the Green Mountains last week.

At my parents house tonight I was able to sync my blog with my laptop ↔and get some new content uploaded for this week. It can be tough to constantly be coming up with ideas 💡 and it’s hard to post things and develop code without the library open with its comfortable seating 💺 inside.
