I don’t have a lot of plans for today, but I will probably go down to the library 📗📘📙and do everything that I forgot to do yesterday down there.💻 I was going to update the software on my phone but that didn’t happen. 📲 I doubt I’ll drive anywhere today as the truck is totally encrusted with ice on the windshield and I’ve yet to buy an ice scraper. 💠Also forgot to flip up the windshield wipers before we got that freezing rain the other day. 🚗 I might also go for a walk if it’s not too cold. 🏃

Tomorrow is Martin Luther King Jr Day, so it’s a day off from work. 👳 It looks like for once not to be an outrageously frigid day but still pretty cold. 😕 But it may be nice enough to get up to Thacher Park and go skiing.🏂🍁🌲🌳.  

Starting to figure out the code to drive the LED matrix but it’s a bit more complicated than I expected. The API with MD MAX72XX lacks centering or even a built in function to scroll or display text, you have to build that yourself based on their examples. 📂📄💻 It really is much more complicated than it needs to be. Sure the default code does the low level stuff but it should be more abstract. I guess I could research🔎🔎🔎 to see if other libraries exist beyond MD MAX72XX and MD Parola because both seem somewhat lacking, more centered on special effects than giving you the ability to display formatted text ♏🔣in a straightforward way. 👽🆗
