Two hundred and forty eight years isn’t a half bad run. Quarter of a millennium when you think about it. Things are better now – we got legalized fireworks and cannabis, gun laws in many states are getting better.

Morning started out cloudy ⛅ but is rapidly improving on this forth of July. Maybe not feeling quite as happy as last night, I’m still enjoying the bright colors and the beauty of the forest after taking another hit this morning. It’s nice to be relaxed and away from it all on this Independence Day. 🇺🇸

Decided I need a second pot of coffee this morning ☕ probably because you guessed it but I’m quite relaxed. While I was wide awake until nearly midnight last night I slept in until eight and are feeling great. I’ll inflate the tube and walk 🚶 down to the Potholers later on. Got lots of sunscreen 🧴and my goggles, 🥽inflate my tube, ⭕ and before I hit the water 💦 maybe take another hit.

Now that it’s legal ⚖ I get why all the good ol boys grew their own. 🐲 I just love how cannabis enhances the saturation of the colors in the woods, 🌲makes it easier to relax and tune into the world around you. I’d rather smoke then drink beer any day. 🍻 It’s cheaper than beer rather than dulling the world around you it makes it easier to take it all in with a positive perspective. I don’t embrace stoner culture but now I want to get a cannabis flag to hang up at camp to celebrate freedom. 🏳️‍🌈
