Good morning! Happy Final Friday of October. 🎃

Chilly start to the morning, I kind of wish I had turned the heat on before bed. Very dark with the late sunrise and the thick fog this time of year.

Foggy and 35 degrees in Delmar, NY. 🌁 Calm wind.

That fog 🌫 is a bit chilly walking down to the express bus 🚍 and it certainly is quite thick. Hard to see cars without their headlights on today from any distance. Visibility is okay to see the road but you can’t see far. Haven’t seen a fog so thick you can’t see the road well since I was a child. 🧒 More common in the mountains I think.

Looks like another rainy weekend on tap. ☔ I have Monday and Tuesday off next week but I probably will do some day trips this week and get ready for heading out of town next week, which right now looks quite nice.

Yesterday I went to the store and got milk 🥛. I didn’t bother with my muzzle . 😷 While I wear my muzzle while up and around in the office, on the bus or when I’m doing an extended grocery shop 🛒, I’ve stopped wearing it when quick in and out and can social distancing, I’ve been vaccinated for a while now and the evidence is that the vaccine is quite effective and casual exposure is pretty low. The danger really is for the unvaccinated, extended periods and to a much lesser extent the elderly. I’m not convinced about boosters for one of my age and health.

Last night I launched a new blog theme, as I like to change things up from time to time. 📄 It’s actually not that radical of a change – just a modified style sheet but it’s a cleaner and more contemporary look.
