Good Morning – January 30, 2022
Good morning! Final Sunday of January. β
It was mentioned in the Friday meeting at work that the Superbowl isn’t until the second week of February this year, the weekend before Presidents Day Weekend. Seems odd to me that it’s so late, but what do I know, it’s not like I ever watch it. π
Mostly sunny and 3 degrees in Delmar, NY. π Hey, at least the mercury is positive. There is a northwest breeze at 9 mph. π. The current wind chill is -12. There are 4 inches of snow on the ground. β οΈThings will start to thaw out at Tuesday around 1 pm. π‘οΈ
This bears repeating — seven weeks until spring! πΊ When there is no hope, spring is coming. Or so we tell ourselves. Maybe it’s a lie, but I am sure hopeful. Not as cold today, although that bar is pretty low with things only maximizing out in the 20s. But maybe we will see the 40s mid week, although with rain. But good by for a lot of snow, at least for a couple of days.
I am hoping to go out to the Hannacroix Ravine Preserve outside of Clarksville today, πΈ but I might have to go into the office later. π’ It really is hard to say, it seems like things are kind of up in air at work. I’ve never been to the Hanncroix Ravine Presesrve in years, apparently there is a nice waterfall up there. Seems like the preserve is always kind of crowded, so I end up avoiding it.
