Good morning! Yeah, it’s Friday! 😀

Be happy, you can freeze your ass off at home, rather then going back and forth to work.

Mostly sunny and 1 degree at the Elm Ave Park and Ride.  😎 There is a north breeze at 7 mph. 🍃. The current wind chill is -12. There are 3 inches of snow on the ground. ☃ ️

I walked down to the express bus, 🚌 and it was cold but actually not that bad as the wind was pretty quiet in Delmar. That said with the tall buildings downtown, walking on the Plaza for a while was pretty darn cold. 🌬 Some black ice around on the sidewalks, I’m sure the sun yesterday, despite the cold, kind of melted things.

I kind of slept in late today until 7 AM, 😴 as I woke up during the night and I wanted to make sure I got my eight hours in. Plus the earlier express is often late, and I didn’t want to be standing around freezing my ass off at the park and ride lot. 🅿️ The later bus was a few minutes late, but I stayed warm walking lapses around the parking lot. 🚶‍♀️

Last night I also did my evening walk, and I didn’t think it was too cold 🚶‍♀️ as the wind wasn’t wiping around. That said, half way through my walk my pedometer app on my phone stopped working, so I only captured part of the steps I did. So I didn’t get credit for them, although I’ll be the first to admit it’s kind of silly to get worried about what the phone sees — it’s the steps that mattered. Icy by the bus garage too, I started to slip, but that seems to be an issue every winter, probably from the dicing they use at the garage.
