Good Morning – August 30, 2021

Good morning! Happy Average High Falls To 79 ️Degrees ⛱️️️ !

There is your evidence that summer is ending. That and traffic volumes are picking up. 🚘 Next Monday is Labor Day 👷 and then its back to downtown five days a week and back to school 🚸 for the youngens.

Mostly cloudy and 70 degrees in Delmar, NY. ☁ There is a south breeze at 10 mph. 🍃. The dew point is 68 degrees. The skies will clear around 5 pm. Muggy out but not hot yet.

Breakfast was pancakes 🥞 and frozen cherries 🍒 and then it was out for the morning walk 🚶. I’ll head home, take a quick shower 🚿 then head down to the office 🏢.

The weekend was nice but the four days in the Adirondacks 🗻 came and went much too quickly. Maybe later in September I can get to the Potholers one more time before it gets too cold. That said this weeks forecast looks cold.

Oil change and tire rotation tomorrow 🛢 as I try to milk whatever life I can out of those 35s plus remote work ends Friday so it’s just so much easier to get done now. 🛒 Also grocery shopping and a car wash tonight. I could have waited on the oil change but I want to do the tire rotation to keep the tires from getting too cupped. Later in September I’ll make my Watkins Spring appointment with their big alignment machine.

Canceling the deposit to my savings account this week because my bank account is a joke 🏦 and there isn’t any money left at least before pay day. What can I say, we live in inflationary times. Now if they could increase the fed rate. 📊 At least we won’t be wasting so much money in Afghanistan 🇦🇫.

Maybe I should create a budget, as the advertising suggests 💵 but I’m not sure how much savings I can find. Most of my money goes towards savings, investment. and retirement as it is. I already take maximum advantage of tax advantaged retirement accounts, index funds 📇 and high interest savings. I am just so focused on my long term goals.

This week thought I want to continue learning more PANDAS 🐼 and new skills with Python. When I have some down time, I want to keep researching how to make more interesting output of data, especially interactive graphs and maps.
