Brookfield is a town in Madison County, New York, United States. The population was 2,403 at the 2000 census. The Town of Brookfield is located in the southeast part of the county. The county agricultural fair is held here every year.

These Old Barns Always Intrigue Me

Stately, but old barns perched right along the road always fascinate me. I am sure when this barn was built the road had much less traffic, and people wenta a lot slower in their horse and buggies. To think of the changes the barn has seen!

A lot of the roads were muddy in Brookfield both from all the sand they've laid down an all the mud be tracked out by equipment on farms.

Down To Moscow Hill Camping Area

Rogers Environmental Education Center, like much of Madison and Oneida Counties was a sea of browns and grays, as the lack of snow left the land open and exposesed. The corn residue and manure sat in forefront, waiting dorimently for naothr planting season to occur.
