Due to a math error in calculating blank and void, I am re-posting this. One of my coding projects this weekend is developing an automated script for creating KML files based on election results, calculating formulas and automatically combining with a shapefile. This new script also provides a full break down of election results by district including drop-off (under vote) and voided (over votes), by clicking on the map. With this new program I've written, all I have to do is cut and paste out the canvas book into Excel, save the file and it will automatically process all of the workbooks into maps. Pretty cool stuff.
