Fulton County

Fulton County is a county located in the U.S. state of New York. As of the 2010 census, the population was 55,531. Fulton County is in the central part of the state, northwest of Albany. It is in the southern portion of the Adirondack Park and is famous for it’s ’44 Lakes’.

Nice Autumn Day at the Potholers

Enjoying the cool waters on a hot late summer day in mid-September at the Potholers Swimming Hole, aka Bray House Falls on Piseco-Powley Road. Despite the mercury being around 80 degrees, the trees are turning colors.

Plains of East Canada Creek

I was struck by the similarities -- and contrasts to Moose River Plains. You certainly do not see the Golden Rod in the Sandy Plains of East Branch of the Moose River.

Chilly night, warm fire

Chilly night tonight and it got dark early but I didn't hang up a lot of things as I plan to move to a different campsite come morning.
