Five Rivers Environmental Education Center is a living museum comprising over 450 acres of broad fields, towering forests, and tranquil wetlands. Five Rivers offers people of all ages a rich variety of guided and self-guided opportunities to encounter nature directly. Stimulating interpretive programs and guided school lessons promote awareness, knowledge and appreciation of New York State’s environment year ’round. Imagine for a minute, you are a hiring manager at a company. You are interviewing applicants for a job and one says that they will take the job, but will refuse to take a salary. Sounds like a good deal – saves money. Right? Except maybe not – an employee who isn’t compensated for their time is unlikely to work as hard and really isn’t going to loose much if they are fired. Paid employees work harder and take their jobs more seriously as they depend on it for their survival. The same is true for politicians.

Little messed up

It’s just messed up that the Latitude is the Y axis, longitude is the X axis, but most of the time you write Latitude (Y), Longitude (X) — but Y does not come before X in the alphabet unless you are a Little Endian and think Z is the first letter in the alphabet.
