Chub Lake
Chub Pond is a remote Adirondack Lake, located roughly 3 miles from Mill Creek Road, following an old woods road sometimes traveled by ATVs. The trail runs through several marshes and is relatively flat with several rather muddy sections. Remsen Falls Trail

For those who want to walk all the way to Remsen Falls, Bear Lake, or the 5.2 miles to Woodhull Lake. Honestly though, at least in the summer, the truck trail is well surfaced and gravel covered, and most vehicles should be able to make it back there, despite DEC warnings, suggesting "High Clearance Vehicles" only.
