Government Gives Gas Stations Some Competition

Interesting idea, although I can envision a few problems with regulatory conflict. Government is terrible at regulating government, it always seeks to bail out failing governments by bending the letter and intent of the law to provide a little more revenue. Ask the City of Albany about how well government-run facilities are regulated by the state, especially when it comes at an economic cost.

We need more deaf people in New York. In Albany logic, deaf people collect Medicaid and other federally-funded welfare money, and that's free federal state money flowing into NY State. Having to wear ear-protection when shooting firearms is stupid, when existing technology could greatly quiet them.

That said, I love how quiet my GAMO Air Rifle is.... it's too bad shotguns and rifles can't use suppressors in New York and that they aren't allowed as standard equipment on firearms like they are on most air rifles.
