The greatest winter extreme occurred on January 13, 1932 when we had 71 degree weather on a day that is normally 30 degrees. That’s a record that is 41 degrees above normal.
The greatest summer extreme happened on July 4, 1911 when we had 104 degree weather on a day that is normally 82 degrees. That’s a record 21 degrees above normal.
Albany’s climate is more stable in the summer than winter.
