Daily Update – March 10, 2022
Good morning! Happy Thursday.
πΉπ»πΌOnly 10 days remain until the first day of calendar spring!πΉπ»πΌ
But first a snow π¨ storm? Maybe though not a big one. We did get a few inches last night though.
Snow fog π« and 26 degrees in Delmar, NY. Calm wind. There are 4 inches of snow on the ground. β οΈThings will start to thaw out around 8 am. π‘οΈ
Day by day we are getting closer to spring. πΈ But this morning certainly doesn’t feel particularly spring like. Quite foggy π to be exact. I think everybody was surprised by how much snow we got yesterday – a few inches. Then some point after my evening walk πΆ it seems to have turned to ice and freezing rain. Although on top of the dusting of snow things aren’t that slick. Actually kind of pretty with all the snow on the trees.
With the snow last night π I was able to attend the meeting last night via Zoom from home π‘ and actually take it along for me on my evening walk. πΆ That said, with the heavy wet snow last night on the trees halfway through my walk the signal πΆ kept dropping out a bit. Then I hurried home, brushed the snow off my hair and participated in the the question and answer section of the meeting when I actually had to have my video πΉ camera on. Mobile π± phones are great especially when you have unlimited within reason data.
I’ve been quite happy π with my decision to go with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches π₯ͺ this week. It does really help to save money and time both preparing, cooking and eating lunch. I should do more sandwiches. Hot lunches are fine but they get kind of tiresome with all the prep work and cleaning up there after. Sandwiches just require a quick cleaning of the containers when done.
