Sunny February Afternoon
Good Morning – February 4, 2022
Good morning! Happy Icy Friday! π¨
Slip sliding away, although my office is closed today so I will probably just stay home and maybe just see if I can scrape some of the snow and ice off my truck. That said, it looked like the buses were chugging along but I don’t mind a free three day weekend.
Snow and sleet pellets and 18 degrees in Delmar, NY. π¨ There is a north breeze at 13 mph. π. The current wind chill is 5. There are 4 inches of snow on the ground. β οΈThings will start to thaw out at Monday around 11 am. π‘οΈ
What can I say, it’s not a very nice day. π¨ And it’s going to be even colder out tomorrow. But nicer by next week. I’m just not sure if I’ll be able to get out tomorrow or if things will be still frozen from all that freezing rain we got. I don’t know if I can even get the doors open on my truck. It’s that icy outside.

It's a rule that many genealogists plan their lives around.
Once a decade, the U.S. Census Bureau tries to gather the names, home addresses and other details of every person living in the country for a head count.
And 72 years after a national tally's Census Day, records with all of that information are shared with the public, including family historians eager to flesh out their genealogy charts.
