Good morning! What day is it? It’s he Day before Turkey Day, of course. π¦
They got some big turkey farms in West Virginia, it’s not all just chickens in the Sweedlin Valley of West Virginia. Meat birds and cattle yes, not much dairy.
Sunny and 20 degrees in Delmar, NY. π There is a northwest breeze at 6 mph. π. Things will start to thaw out at around 10 am. π‘οΈ
Cold start to the morning π¨ but I’m sure it will warm up later. I am up early this morning so I’m catching the earlier express bus π downtown now and will walk πΆ for a bit longer around the Plaza. I figure if I’m up I should do it, as I’m going to bed too early most nights for the evening walk.
I may start going in more mornings early, as I get up at 5 AM most mornings as I’m to bed so early these days. If I’m not doing my morning walks, then I should plan on doing more morning walks. With the muzzle mandate at the library and walking home from the express in evening, plus additional data they’ve added to my phone plan, I don’t usually get out for a walk after work very much these days.
The tires are ordered for Big Red and hopefully they will come in soon, as they wanted me to pay a big deposit on them. I ended up paying a fair bit more then I budgeted for but they are the nice BFG tires and I really had only two choices. They are also going to fix the the shock absorber. I hate having to put so much money into my truck, but I make good money, and that’s really the only option or take the vehicle off the road come next Wednesday, December 1st. Really had only two choices for tires, but at least I could get them.
Probably going to leave work early today, as they are closing the office at 3 PM. I might stay until 4 PM so I can catch the express bus home, but still be able to walk home in the daylight. I really don’t like walking home after dark, as it seems dangerous with all the speeding rush hour motorists, and just somehow the darkness triggers my sleepness.
I want to get out of town this weekend, but it looks like the bad weather may linger into Friday and it might be very cold come Saturday. So nothing is set in stone at this point. I’ll take it day by day.
